The Blue Lake International Exchange Program (a division of Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp), in Michigan, is now in its 47th year of promoting International Understanding Through The Arts.
This summer, the GHO Symphonic Band, from Heide, Germany, is going to be touring in Michigan, Illinois and Indiana, as part of our International Program.
This group of young musicians will be visiting Belleville, Illinois from Tuesday, July 15 - Thursday, July 17. Our hosting chairmen in Belleville, Jerry Reilmann, is still in need of several host families for this two night visit.
The tentative schedule is:
Tuesday, July 15
2:00pm Arrive Belleville, Illinois (location TBD)
Meet and go home with host families.
Wednesday, July 16
Morning Free with Host Families
2 - 4pm Rehearsal Belleville Philharmonic Hall
Home with host families for rest an
dinner
6:00 pm Set-up crew arrive at Lindenwood
Auditorium.
6:15pm All members arrive and prepare for concert
7:00pm CONCERT - GHO Symphonic Band at
Lindenwood
Auditorium, Belleville, Illinois
Home with host families following performance
Thursday, July 17
12 noon HOLIDAY COACH arrive at (location TBD)
12:30pm Group members arrive, board bus and prepare for departure to Terre Haute, Indiana.
This is a marvelous group of talented young musicians who wish to share in a cultural experience with American Families.
