12. You need to know the verbs gehen, heißen, wohnen, kommen, and kennen.
11. You will need to know situations when you use du and when you use Sie.
10. You will need to be able to tell whether a statement is logical or illogical. This means you need to practice your question phrases and responses. 
9. You will need to be able to answer the questions we have been working with in German. Ex: Wie geht's? Woher kommst du? usw.
8. You will need to know how to ask questions in German when prompted with the English. To do this you need to know your German vocabulary. Flashcards are a must! Study them and practice on Quizlet. 
7. You will need  to be able to pull from a word bank to complete sentences. To do this you will need to know what all of the words mean. How will you know? By studying your vocabulary!
6. You will need to be able to spell the numbers 1-20 in German. Practice writing them out to help you or have someone quiz you.
5.You will also need to be able to finish a German sentence without a word bank. Practicing the phrases we use in class and in your book will help you!
4. You will need write to appropriate responses to questions in German with complete sentences. German word order is very important! Remember the verb is in the second position!
3. You need to know the German greetings and farewells.
